Release date: 2003.
Country of origin: USA

Ratings (1-10): video: 5 / audio: 6 / additional content: 0 / overall: 5.

This budget DVD-R edition has been mastered from a French VHS videotape copy of a full-frame, natural-speed video transfer from a 16mm reduction print, with permanent French subtitles under German intertitles. Any fine image details in the source print have been lost to the low resolution of VHS, rendering a picture that is equivalent to a good 16mm reduction print. The print features a reasonable range of greytones, but the overall picture is contrasty with deep shadows and some burnt-out highlights.

The film is accompanied by a full orchestral music score, with a persistent hiss, that was likely on the source VHS videotape copy utilized for the edition.

This DVD is currently unavailable, as sales of the edition were discontinued in July 2006.
