The film is accompanied by two optional music scores: the first score composed by Pierre Oser and performed by WDR-Rundfunkorchester; the second score improvised by Günter A. Buchwald, with a violinist, recorded at a live performance at the 2010 International Bonn Silent Film Festival. The supplementary short films are accompanied by piano performances by Stephen Horne and Joachim Bärenz.

Supplemental material includes twelve short films, commercials and newsreel reports about Cologne; lobby cards; and a 16-page bilingual (German and English) insert booklet, with writings by Hans Feld, Irene Schoor and Jens-Uwe Völmecke.
