Sending Press Releases
to Silent Era

If you have an item of silent film interest pertaining to the silent era of cinema that you wish to promote, you may send a press release to the Silent Era editor.

Due to the small staff at Silent Era, we prefer to receive information about products in the form of an online press release. Digital press releases allow us to quickly edit and post promotional information, without a large outlay of time that could be more productive for our readers writing other content and performing site maintenance.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to time constraints and the limited geographic areas of interest, we no longer accept and process announcements of silent film events. We instead invite postings of your event announcements on our Facebook page.

Press releases for home video or book products may be submitted as text-only e-mail messages, or as e-mail with attachments in plain text, rich text format, or Word document formats. Promotional photographs are also accepted as e-mail attachments.

We reserve the right to edit press releases for length or content.
