Drama.

Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? “So you’re tired of the old town and the old man,” said father, and straightway wrote a recommendation to an old friend in the city. It did the work. In the months that followed father was forgotten, until his unexpected visit to see the new wife. His visit was unwelcome. Later, summoned back to his son in trouble, dad saved the day and the thoughtless boy was humbled.

Reviews: [The Moving Picture World, 22 November 1913, page ?] Not very interesting; it tells a story of a son who went away to find business in the city and there married a woman of fashion. The old man happens to come on a visit just as a ball is being held in his son’s house and the son is a bit ashamed of the father’s clothes. Later the father helps the son to replace money he has embezzled. It is a very artificial picture; and there are crude scenes and some camera consciousness, as when the sons chum waits tor the father, not at the depot door, but just in front of the camera.
